Hi Friends! Gerda Steiner Designs released this adorable stamp set just in time for my nephew’s birthday and I couldn’t have been more excited with this release.

For this card I used the Gerda Steiner Designs “Cupcake Mice” stamp set and Simon Says Stamp “Streamer Ribbons” die set. I stamped the mouse and cupcake image on white, alcohol marker friendly cardstock and colored the images with my Copic markers. I added Glossy Accents to the mouse’s party hat and put a layer of Nuvo Glitter Drops (Blue Lagoon) on the top of the cupcake. Before the Glitter Drops dried, I sprinkled a heavy coating of Tim Holtz’s Rock Candy Glitter on it so it would look candy-coated and sparkly.

I used a pre-cut piece of A2 sized turquoise cardstock for my bottom card-front panel and then used a rectangular die to cut the white cardstock panel so that it would be a tad smaller than the turquoise piece. I splattered the white cardstock panel with the Sky and Anise watercolor paints from the Art Philosophy Watercolor Confetti Set. After the splatter dried, I glued down the streamers I cut using Simon Says Stamp’s Streamer Ribbons” and Scrapbook.com’s Rainbow cardstock pad.

Next, I put the splattered card panel in my Misti stamping tool and placed the mouse and cupcake where I wanted them to go to help me better determine the sentiment stamp placement. After I stamped the sentiment, I put Spellbinders’ adhesive foam squares on the back side of the mouse and cupcake and adhered them to the front card panel.

To complete the card, I glued some rhinestones from the Taylored Expressions Rainbow Rhinestones on two corners of the card and adhered the decorated card panel to the turquoise one. I attached these to a top folded, A2 card base and that wrapped it up.

I hope you enjoyed the card. Thank you so much for stopping by to see me - I appreciate you doing so!

Until next time… happy making!

Hi Friends! Today I’m sharing a birthday card I created for my niece. I thought this fantastic stamp from Katzelkraft - Renards Tandem – was the perfect image for my focal point. Let’s get started!

To start the card front, I used Paul Rubens metallic watercolor paints on a piece of cold press watercolor paper. The colors I used are: C4627, C425, C400 for sky colors and C4628, C303 for the transition colors to the pathway. When the watercolor paint dried, I stamped the cobblestone pathway along the bottom edge of the paints using a My Favorite Things stamp called ‘On Solid Ground’ then cut the panel to an A2 size using the Paper Rose ‘Stitched Rectangles’ die.

My next step was to stamp the ‘Renards Tandem’ image onto a piece of white cardstock. I colored the image using Prismacolor Premier colored pencils and added metallic accents on the bike using Hana’s Kawaii Crafts (Etsy seller) mica watercolor paints in the colors Electric for the light bulb on the bike and Tinsel for the silver metallic portions of the bike. I then used my Brother Scan n Cut to cut the Renards Tandem image. LOVE my Scan n Cut machine!

For the cobblestone pathway, I colored it using the Prismacolor Premier pencils and used a Tombow water-based marker in color N35 to fill in the space in between the stones. Next, I added Simon Says Stamp 3D Foam Squares to the back of my bicycle image and set it aside while I stamped the Altenew “Birthday Builder” greeting to the painted card front panel.

Once the card front was completed, I attached the colored Renards Tandem image so that it was partially on the cobble stone path to give the appearance of the foxes riding the bike down a street. I finished the card by adding Trinity Stamps “Crystal Ball Dewdrop Baubles” here and there on the card front for a little bling and attached the decorated card front panel to an A2 sized card base to complete the card.

I hope you enjoyed this cute foxy card. Thank you so much for stopping by to see me - I appreciate you doing so!

Until next time…

Hi Friends! This birthday card was inspired by a beautiful embossing folder from the September 2022 Altenew product release. So many gorgeous products were in this release!

I started by lightly misting a piece of brown cardstock, placing it into the Altenew Intricate Tiles 3D Embossing Folder and running it through my Gemini Junior. After the panel dried a few minutes, I painted the Iuile Watercolors HG9 to add a bit of blue shimmery glitter around the edges of each of the raised tile images.

Then, using my Karin DecoBrush Metallic Permanent Markers, I brushed metallic ink across each raised tile. The colors of Karin markers used are: Metallic Red Gold, Metallic Silver, and Metallic Gold.

I mounted the painted panel to a piece of Cardstock Warehouse’s Stardream Silver cardstock using Simon Says Stamp’s Big Momma Foam Tape and mounted the card front to a top folding, A2 card base.

For the sentiment I used Spellbinders Copper Glimmer Foil and Pinkfresh’s Fancy Script Word hot foil dies and cutting dies. The sentiment was foiled onto a scrap piece of the Stardream Silver cardstock and PinkFresh Metallic Pearls in Matte Gold were glued to the centers of each of the tiles for a pop of fun.

Thank you so much for stopping by to see me – I appreciate you doing so!

Until next time…
